Bambino...NY

Bambino is now Eli and he is doing wonderful. Diane was right on the money with his personality and his temperament. He gets along wonderful with our lab. She is mothering him and really sets him straight on "doggie rules". His house training is going pretty well, although outside is pretty cold right now so we are still using the pee pads. Bubba Jo...PA

Bubba Jo has become Charlie. He has adjusted very easily to his new home in Pennsylvania and his new sister, Freckles (almost 10 yrs old), who came to me through AADR in December of 2008. They have bonded - no arguments- they only expect constant belly rubs, walks and attention from me! Charlie is a joy, so sweet - he loves everyone he meets. We are going to obedience school starting Saturday. I am hoping that eventually we can do some pet assisted therapy in senior facilities and/or schools. Bo 3...TN

Bo is doing wonderful! He is so happy. I'm haven't been this happy in years! I couldn't have asked for a better,well behaved companion. He will not use the bathroom in the house!! He will sit by the door until I take him out. After one week he is VERY protective & territorial. If I don't tell him it's ok your not coming close to me or in my apt! I'm disabled and can't work so I'm usually home all day to play & love on him. If I go somewhere he goes with, he loves to go for a ride. If I can't take him he understands & just sleeps on the couch until I get home. We both got what we wanted, a good loving buddy! More people need to adopt! They are so appreciative to have loving home! I love him so much I wouldn't trade him for anything! Thanks AADR!!!!

Hi Angela - I'm sorry it has taken me so long to send you a picture of Bela, but she it's hard to keep her in one place very long. She is doing fine, such a sweet baby.

BRAUNEE...AZ

He couldn't be a more perfect fit for our family, and we are all so in love with him and his wonderful personality. We have 2 other dachshunds and a husky (who thinks she is a dachshund) and they are all one one big loving bunch! Braunee loves riding in the car, taking walks, going camping and sleeping in my lap...he is just so lovable!! He has discovered sleeping in the "big bed" and burrowing to the bottom is his favorite thing. He has been introduced to the pool in the backyard and loves to float around with momma or poppa then relax on the cool step. We couldn't have asked for a better pup and so truly happy that he is a part of our family!!! He is actually sitting on my lap as I type this email :) Thanks for checking in and for being a caring part of a wonderful rescue organization!!
