Happy Tales

Every one of these Dachshunds has been rescued by an angel...

Harley's Brave Journey   Harley's Story is a great inspiration to AADR because it shows that no matter how desperate the situation, saving one life makes the ultimate difference. Bonnie
Bonnie

Bonnie is doing great! I took her to my vet clinic last Saturday and she got a clean bill of health there. She weighed in at 12'08" and was declared free of those pesty earmites. She is finding her place in the 'pack' here. My other 2 doxies and she are not best friends but they respect each other's presence in the big bed at night. I've attached a pic of all 3, left to right is Heidi, Pixie and Bonnie. This was taken the day we got home from California. Bonnie is very loving and demands to be held whenever someone is home, whether that is me, my hubby or our daughter. That is exactly what I wanted! She loves to go for a ride and has been on some local adventures already, again, just what I wanted! We took her and Heidi to PepperPlace a couple of Saturdays ago and rode them around in our baby buggy. They were both adored by folks at the market and Bonnie allowed petting by strangers. She is quite the little tiger when someone comes to the house and ran one of the maids up on a chair, typical doxie guarding the home! She is a treasure and a wonderful addition to our family. She eases the pain of Freud's loss, I can't imagine not having her. You'll have to excuse me now, Bonnie wants to be held. Thank you for being a rescue angel for pups like Bonnie and hoomommies like me! debbie
