Happy Tales
Every one of these Dachshunds has been rescued by an angel...
Harley's Brave Journey Harley's Story is a great inspiration to AADR because it shows that no matter how desperate the situation, saving one life makes the ultimate difference. DeeAnn, Harley's foster mom, has included her personal account with Harley's amazing story and where he is now.Harley was found homeless and sick. He only had a 50% chance of survival. Now he is living a life of true happiness and contentment. Read More...

Sonny...TN
Here are some photos of Sonny (now Buckley) with his new family of mMom/Dad and Maggie!
Slinky #2..TN
It was one year ago AADR brought me my best friend.
I just wanted to say thank you and let you know that we are doing well. Slinky has been the best friend to me that I could have ever hoped for. He greets me with kisses and a wagging tail every time I come home. He snuggles up with me at night and keeps me warm. We go on walks and rides in the car together. He is my best friend.
Thank you a main

Scooter..DE
Scooter is fantastic! He's an interesting Doxie, somewhat different personality (but great), from the other doxies that I've had . . . He can dance and sing!! LOL hard to believe but true! I'll try to post some video to the FB page.
He was shy at first, he's only now beginning play with his toys and fetch, but he's a loving dog, and he listens to commands and has never had a potty accident. If fact, he's even graciously allowed Simon the Cat to share his new bed, well sometimes ;)
I appreciate all that you guys do for these little fellas, I'm hoping to get involved myself with home visits, transport, etc.
Thanks again,
Happy New Year!
Michelle
Sneakers..TN
Sneakers new family sent us this picture. It seems that Sneakers has wormed his way into a few hearts (and smiles)!
Sophie #7...TN
Sophie is doing just great. She loves her new big sister, Greta (a 4 year old doxie), they play together alot. She's still adjusting to our cat, Mia but she's getting better with her each day.
Sophie has also gained a little weight since we first got her, so she looks really great now. I have attached a picture.
We love having Sophie in our family. Thanks for asking about her.
