Happy Tales
Every one of these Dachshunds has been rescued by an angel...
Harley's Brave Journey Harley's Story is a great inspiration to AADR because it shows that no matter how desperate the situation, saving one life makes the ultimate difference. DeeAnn, Harley's foster mom, has included her personal account with Harley's amazing story and where he is now.Harley was found homeless and sick. He only had a 50% chance of survival. Now he is living a life of true happiness and contentment. Read More...

Sookie..IN
Sookie is adjusting great! She is learning new things from her older puppy sister(niko), and niko is getting some habits from her. Lol. She is doing great at potty training, has learned to sit, and rings the bell on the back door when she wants/needs to go out. She is a very smart little girl, and very strong willed. She goes to the vet tomorrow, but I weighed her, and she is up to 8lbs. Here is a picture of sookie and her sister niko in the backyard.

Lydia...PA
Lydia is doing wonderful she has adjusted great loves to play with her new brother Luther. She is so lovable and friendly. She is already housebroken. She has made so happy she is a wonderful puppy and I would like to thank everybody that made it possible for Lydia to get to her forever home.
Swaggard...IN
Angie, He is doing great! We renamed him Zakk. He gets along great with the other dogs and is a pleasure to be around. He has been great in the house. No accidents. He's a great sleeper/snuggler. He's been to the vet and they reduced the amount of heart meds he was taking. We are VERY happy to have adopted him. I will recommend your organization to anyone I know interested in a dachshund. Thanks! Heather
Becca...TN
Becca is doing great! I thought she would be sad whenever Lydia left for her forever home, but she did fine. She and our other two minis have continued to get along well. Now that she's getting bigger, they are playing with her more. Her crate is now in our bedroom with our other two dogs and our foster, Odin. She has tons of energy, still seems to love her crate, and is doing great with potty training. We are so happy to have her! Our Vet said they would do her spay on her 5 month birthday and we are taking her in on October 9 to get started on HW and have her rabies shot done.
Thanks so much!
Jennie
