Each April and October, AADR will be hosting an online auction fundraiser!  As many of you are aware, some of the dachshunds that come to AADR require attention that is beyond what is asked for in adoption fees.  From dental exams that sometimes result in multiple teeth extractions, surgeries for dogs down, and heartworm treatments, these fees can easily surpass what many could pay in an adoption fee.  Fundraising is obviously an important enabler of the mission of AADR.  This auction provides an exciting opportunity for AADR and our partners!

AADR will be teaming with BiddingForGood, an online auction service for philanthropies and non-profit organizations.  What does that mean to all of us?  Exposure to a community of 220,000 bidders who frequent BiddingForGood.com auctions for AADR and our partners!  The increased exposure this opportunity affords will broaden the awareness of AADR and our mission as well as the generosity of those individuals/organizations that provide goods and services to be auctioned!  We are very thankful for our partners that come alongside AADR in helping to “save one until there are none” and we want them recognized! 

How can you participate?  There are two opportunities for you to help!  You can donate an item to sell at the auction to help one of our dogs like (insert a pic/story maybe)!! Or, during the auction you can bid on items!  To offer an item for the auction, please (do something here, click/email etc).  If you know someone that might be interested in donating an item, please send them to us!!  And watch this page for more news and finally, participate in the bidding for items in April and October!
