Happy Tales

Every one of these Dachshunds has been rescued by an angel...

Harley's Brave Journey   Harley's Story is a great inspiration to AADR because it shows that no matter how desperate the situation, saving one life makes the ultimate difference. Ruby #9...MO

Ruby is doing great!  She is such a gift and fits in perfectly with my babies.  Ruby came from Texas and had heartworms when we agreed to take her, she has gone through treatment and I've been there to see her through it all.  Her strength made me fall in love with her.  It's amazing to me that a pup that has been through so much and been discarded like trash by someone can be so faithful and trusting.  This is why I do what I do.  I had no idea when I agreed to be her foster that she'd be staying, I mean I had always said that if I adopted another dog it would have to be a long hair doxie because I love them so much.  Ruby picked me, she chose my family and for that I'm so grateful.

I'd also like to thank Bill Duncan, he is the member that pulled Ruby and temp fostered her, he too fell in love so he knows what I'm talking about when I say that she's absolutely the best!

Many thanks to all of the members of AADR for letting me be a part of this wonderful organization and helping save these awesome deserving pups, I truly enjoy all that I do!

I've attached a couple pics.
