Coco #3...NY
It's sure been a long time since I've emailed you! I just wanted to drop you a line and say hello and let you know that Coco is very happy and in good health.
I moved to the east village in NYC from Brooklyn in May so that I could be closer to work (12 min walk away!) and Coco. It's really nice to break up my work day to go home and see my little baby and take her on a nice walk, and I know Coco loves it too. Also my boyfriend does not work on Thursday or Friday so she now has more or less constant company 4/7 days of the week. :)
Coco took to the city like a fish to water and has made so many new dog friends, including another doxie, Frank, who lives next door. We are now a 1/4 block from Tompkins Square Park which has a fenced in dog run for small dogs, where she plays on nice days. Over the summer, we took a few vacations to Cape Cod, MA, where my parents live, and she finally got to meet my family's doxie, Karen. Karen is not always the friendliest lady, but interestingly, she and Coco instantly became pals, and it was such a delight to watch them bond and play. Coco and I will be staying in NYC for Thanksgiving, but she and Karen will have a fun Christmas holiday together this year.
I'm attaching some pictures of Coco and giving you my new address at the bottom of this email so that you and the AADR can contact me via email. Unfortunately, the apartment has many maintenance issues that the landlord is not correcting, so I probably won't be staying there past May, but I will update you when the time comes.
I hope you, your family, and Doxies are doing well, and let me know if you need any help with AADR related things, and I will try my best to be of service :)
God Bless,
Danielle + Coco
