Franklin...NC

From the moment Frankie entered the house, it was home. He has been super fantastic. I love his confidence and happy-go-lucky style. In my opinion, given his history, he treats each day as a new puppy adventure. When he hears Pepper, a neighbor's Jack Russell, barking, his tail becomes a fully engaged helicopter and off he skips to the back fence area where Pepper is often located. I attached a photo so you can see how happy and alert he is. The black fuzzy in the photo is my Niko, bergamasco, rare breed, Italian Sheepherding dog. Niko is 80 pounds to Franklin's 9. Size does not matter to either one of them. - having fun with me is what counts. Frankie's leg muscles have developed very well. He walks for 45 minutes daily with Niko, Wee Willie Winkle (miniature poodle mix) and myself. He keeps up perfectly and is smiling the entire way. It would be unthinkable to him to not go. He is getting lots of exercise here and sleeps through the night without incident. The first night, I put him in his crate. Oh stars in the heavens, the vocalization of protest was enormous. Then Niko and Willie joined the chorus. Needless to say after 10 minutes, I installed Frankie in bed with Willie and myself. We all got a good night's sleep. The next day, I packed the crate into the garage. Frankie is well behaved. I have complete confidence when I go out for errands or my every other weekend part time job at my vet's that all is well. He never disappoints. Thank you so much for rescuing this little fellow. He is a joy to me and my pack. > Maureen
