Happy Tales
Every one of these Dachshunds has been rescued by an angel...
Harley's Brave Journey Harley's Story is a great inspiration to AADR because it shows that no matter how desperate the situation, saving one life makes the ultimate difference. DeeAnn, Harley's foster mom, has included her personal account with Harley's amazing story and where he is now.Harley was found homeless and sick. He only had a 50% chance of survival. Lucy...AR
It has truly been amazing just how fast Lucy has adjusted to forever home. It feels like she has been a part of the family all along. She is the sweetest most loving dog I have ever been around. She meets me at the door when I come home from work with her tail wagging, and sits on my chair with me and loves giving lots of kisses. She has become a great companion not only for my wife and I but also our older dachshund Cocoa. I have sent a few pictures of them together. They love to snuggle up together in the blanket when they sleep at night, and have been getting along great. We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family, we are truly blessed to have adopted Lucy. Oh and she absolutely loves her walks. She demands to go on at least two walks a day. So my wife takes her on a walk in the morning, and I take her on her afternoon walk. She now has her own personal pink walking harness just for her walks. I have attached a couple of pictures of her in her new home and I hope you can use them. I just wanted to thank everyone at AADR for rescuing our princess Lucy and for all the work that went into our adoption of her. AADR is a great organization and once again I just wanted to say thank you. Let me know if you would like any more pictures or updates.
Thank you,
John Carney
