Happy Tales
Every one of these Dachshunds has been rescued by an angel...
Harley's Brave Journey Harley's Story is a great inspiration to AADR because it shows that no matter how desperate the situation, saving one life makes the ultimate difference. DeeAnn, Harley's foster mom, has included her personal account with Harley's amazing story and where he is now.Harley was found homeless and sick. He only had a 50% chance of survival. Now he is living a life of true happiness and contentment. Read More...

Scruffy.....NY
Looks like our buddy Scruffy is having a great time in his forever home! Leading in the traces even!!
Scrappy.....IN
Hello! Scrappy is doing great! He has successfully destroyed 1 squeaky bone, 1tire, 2 stuffed squeaky toys, 4 squeaky balls, & is currently working on a big squeaky ball.
Every time I think I have gotten tge one he can't destroy, he proves me wrong. :-)
He sleeps with us every night and loves to snuggle in between us. I think he has adapted very well to us and us to him.
We have an appointment scheduled on Saturday for his check up.
Thank you so much for our little pride and joy.
Forever grateful,
Kim
Saban...NC
George's (formerly Saban) forever home sent us this:
He sure is a mama's boy!
Thanks for checking in with us!!
Maria
Sassie.....TN
She's doing great!
We took her to meet our vet and got a thumbs up.
We've actually renamed her Daisy, which she's already answering to. She's getting along well with the other dogs (for the most part, couple of growls here and there!) She's so smart! I didn't even have to show her the doggy door, she found it right away. She sleeps in the bed with us and the other pups. She even helps with laundry!
Scully...VA
Sculley is doing great. He is a wonderful dog. We are going to take him to some training classes... What a cuddlier! He is such a lover.
Thank you,
Carolyn and Tom
