Christy...IN

We absolutely love Chrissy! I know her official name was "Christy", but we started calling her Chrissy.... She is just the sweetest thing, and it is so rewarding to adopt a rescue! She loves toys to the point that she brings her toy with her on our walks and is becoming a snuggler, and we snuggle every night on the couch.

Chewy...TN

I am happy to say that I ADORE Chewy (renamed Bentley). He is such a fun-loving little pooch that I find it hard to believe that someone would abandon him. Bentley loves his toys, playing with my other dog, Bailey, and frequent trips outside. He is full of energy and is a true delight. I adopted Bailey (another Shih Tzu) 71/2 years ago and I am so very happy to have been given the opportunity to adopt Bentley. If anyone is considering pet ownership, I highly recommend pet adoption. I have attached a couple of pictures, one of Bentley enjoying his morning treat and the other all cuddled up in the comforter. He is so spoiled! Happy Holidays! Annette

CLIFFORD...NY

From Clifford's Furever home: Clifford is doing awesome. He is our treasure, our Angel. He has brought us so much joy over the past 3 weeks- words cannot even describe. We are truly honored to have him here with us, and we will always make sure that he gets all the love and respect he deserves. Basically- we are spoiling him rotten - but he deserves that and more. CHAZ...VA

Chaz is doing great! He loves sleeping in the big bed, playing with his brother and sister, and snuggling. He will come up to me and put his nose against my leg when he wants a pat. He was a puppy mill dog, so is still pretty shy and timid- he likes to hang out in the bathroom because it is a small room and he feels safe there- but he has started trying to give me kisses (he usually puts his tongue back in his mouth to quick to actually kiss me) and he has started to play with toys. He hasn't started walking around outside much yet, but loves to sniff and doesn't tremble when we go outside anymore. Sometimes he walks a little bit to find a new piece of grass to sniff. His fur is looking very shiny and is very soft. He had his first taste of pizza two days ago and he liked it a lot. He is very, very warm and when we sleep, he loves to put his body right against my back and put his nose in my hair- it feels so cute and has been very nice on these cold winter nights we have been having. Since getting a third dog I have had to turn the heat down in my house though- I guess it is really true what they say about "three dog nights"- they keep the bed nice and warm! I adopted both Chaz and Ivanna from AADR and would definitely recommend adopting to anyone considering a dog. They are so sweet, loving, and loyal.
