Buddy Coffey RIP
Buddy came to live with us about 5 yrs ago. He was a very unique dog. He loved to sit in our laps and give kisses. He would do this on our feet, legs, hands and face. He was the best face cleaner we have ever seen. He also had a very commanding presence. He became the boss of our other dogs. He decided when it was time for all the dogs to go in their crates in the morning and at night. He was also a very tough and fearless dog. He ran many a big deer and squirrels away from our front door. If not for being on a leash, he probably would still be chasing them.
We loved every minute that he was with us and he will be missed dearly. Venetia Coffey
Mya RIP
Thank you, All American Dachshund, for bringing me Mya. The day I picked her up, she brought so much joy and love into my life. She peacefully passed away yesterday from dementia and other health conditions. Eight beautiful years, and a piece of my life left me yesterday. Everyone in my family is heartbroken over our loss. Even my neighbors will miss her sweet personality and loving nature. I wanted to let Ida and you know. Thanks again!
Best wishes,
Tara Clevenstine
Tobie RIP
never had a boy or a long hair but you assured me he would be a great fit. We had a bumpy start with adjusting...I wondered if his name was really Tobie, he was food aggressive and a bit overweight. He got along with Vienna fabulously as long as she stayed away from his food. After a couple months things were smooth as silk and we learned he loved car rides and the drive through. He didn't like his strict diet but we managed to keep him between 12.5 and 13.5 lbs...down from 17!! When he became paralyzed a year after we got him we were in love and in the split second decision of what to do we opted to "go for it". It was crazy and he was a trooper from surgery through recovery and rehabilitation for 6 months. He won the hearts of everyone he met and was such a character. The next 4 years he lived his best life to the fullest and showed us his love and gratitude everyday. He left his mark in teaching the other dogs (and birds) how to howl and cry when we arrive home. I am so heartbroken having had to say goodbye to such a beautiful soul. It seems impossible that we only had him for 5 years and 8 months and the only comfort I find is in the thought that maybe Vienna needed him in heaven more than he needed to be with me. Thank you Diane and AADR for Tobie...my ❤️

Tiger Paws - RIP, 2022
To Tiger Paws: You were there for me when my husband died.
Crawled up next to me when I cried.
When Buster went you felt it too,
even knowing the Rainbow Bridge is cool.
Our friend of friends was sorely missed,
but together, you & I, we made it through.
God's got a lot of comforting to do,
now that there is no more you;
I know it's better, I felt your pain
so run free little buddy till we're together again. -Nancy Mauseth
Bear Bear RIP
"I said goodbye to my sweet, loyal, & lovable Bear Bear. He couldn't fight through the lymphoma anymore. I told him he was going to go see his sister, Mya. I hope they do find their way to each other across that rainbow bridge. I am thankful for the 5 years I was able to give him a 2nd life, & thank the All American Dachshund Rescue for bringing him to me. Love you forever bubby"!!❤️❤️
