Update, 1/18/15:
Sassy has been in FL for two weeks now. She was previously fostered in TN. She is so much happier to be in a warmer climate! She still wears her jacket if the temp drops below 70 though ... and yes, she still wants to be under a cover or in a soft bed ALL the time! Well, let me re-phrase that, IF she can’t be in your lap THEN she wants to be in soft bed or under a warm cover! A lap will always be her first choice.
Sassy is the PERFECT name for her, ‘cause boy oh boy, she is lively, bold, and full of spirit! She’s VERY tiny, but she’s mighty cute, mighty loveable, and very much a diva!!! She has had a couple of accidents since moving here, but I think it is due to the pet turf in the yard (artificial grass) ... it tickles her feet so she doesn’t want to stay outside for long. She walks great on a leash.
Sassy would love to be an only dog where she could be pampered and loved on all day. Since she is so small, it would be easy to take her with you everywhere ... and she’d just love that! Are you ready to spoil this little darling?!?!? Fill out an app TODAY!

Sassy came from Huntsville, AL where she was adopted out and returned because the lady said she was not housebroken but she was gone for 12+ hours per day and no dog can hold it that long. We have had no issues with Sassy since she’s been here. She is completely house broken.
Sassy loves a lap and especially loves to bury herself under covers and lots of them. Because she is so small and the cold affects her we are asking only FL residents apply for her. She could not stand the cold weather.
At night she goes into her crate and buries herself in her blanket and not another word until you start stirring in the morning then she wants out to go potty outside.
She will follow you from room to room but you must have a doggie bed or a blanket for her to cuddle under in whatever room you are in.
She gets along with other dogs but is really only interested in being with her people, she would be fine as an only dog but a fenced in yard would be best for her. Be prepared even in FL to dress her in warm clothes when she has to be outside.
You could not ask for a sweeter little girl, she is a true mini. Any more info please contact her foster mom.
