BIO:

Coco came from Athens, AL along with 2 other dachshunds on the same day.  We don’t know why she was given up she is a great dog, she’s happy, friendly, everything someone would be looking for in a dog/dachshund.  Their trash can be your treasure!

Coco loves to be in a lap, any lap she’s not fussy. Coco is also happy laying in a doggie bed if your lap is occupied. She gets along with the other foster boys and girls and will even play some.

She loves to be in the fenced in yard and we think that’s where she’d be happiest.

What more can we say about this little girl other than she’s perfect!

Don’t hesitate too long because this is one little girl that will not last long on the website, act NOW.

More about Coco #5...WV

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
