BIO: Hello my name is Boone. I am not sure what my name was before this. The guy I am rooming with right now tells me that I was just left at a shelter with no history. Not sure why anyone would want to do this to me. I really don’t bother anyone. In fact, my favorite things to do are roll over for belly rubs, play “paw the air” with you, give you kisses when you come back, and sit on the couch with you. I like to play with my foster brothers too.
When it’s time to go to bed I either sleep in the big bed or I lay next to my other foster brother for the night. Once I settle in, I am good for the whole night. Now that I am on a schedule I will let you know it is past breakfast, but I have a cute little bark to wake you up. I am a slow eater and I like to have some company from my human buddy while I enjoy my meals. Usually, I will not finish my breakfast all at once, so I get to eat the rest of it a little bit latter. Since I am putting on some weight I get a couple of extra bowls a day. I keep hearing that once I get to a certain weight I will not get that any more (not sure I like not getting extra food in the day).
I am really a very mellow boy that just wants a buddy and a home that will not just get rid of me again. I am even pretty good about going to the potty outside as long as you keep me on a schedule. I do have an accident from time to time, but my human buddy thinks that is because I was never taught how to do that stuff outside all the time. I know I like to greet all my buddies at the door when they come home from work or wherever it is your humans go to during the day. I whimper a little bit when my human buddy leaves, but I settle down in a minute or so.
I guess I just want what everyone else wants - a buddy or family to love me and that I can love back. I think I would make someone a great forever buddy. I have all the greatest attributes of a cute and lovable little doxie gentleman. Why not check me out and find out how we can be a great team together?
