Hello my name is Groucho Marx and I am a great young doxie if I say so myself. My mom and I were dump at a Kill Shelter in there over night drop box.  With not knowing what’s going on I am doing good with what they call a foster home. Now my foster mom says I’m doing great with the other dachshund at this home.  I enjoying the fenced in back yard and running with the other dogs

 I am good on a leash and love taking a car ride. I love to be around people and will snuggle up with you on the couch. I love lap time, there is nothing better

Groucho is crate trained and house trained if you keep to a schedule by going outside frequently and treating him with his reward. Groucho could stand to gain a few pounds with all the running he does.

If you are looking to add to your Furfamily please look at Grouch Marx because he is the sweetest dachshund and will be a great addition to your home.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
