BIO:

This Dynamic Duo are sure to steal your heart!  They are sweet and adorable.  Both have affectionate personalities and are very playful.  Kermit tends to be more of a macho little guy and Miss Piggy is more submissive.  They are definitely a bonded pair and you can tells this by just seeing them interact together.  They absolutely love each other!  They both have beautiful long haired coats.  Kermit has a scarred right earflap from an old hematoma, but is not bothersome to him.  Otherwise these two lovely rescues have no health issues or concerns.  Both are up to date on vaccinations and have had recent dental cleanings.  They get along great with all the other dogs in the foster home both big and small.

If you think that you would love to add this charming couple to your family, please complete an application online now!  If you have any questions regarding them, please feel free to email the foster mom.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
