BEING FOSTER IN HUNTSVILLE, AL

Frankie has been known as Oscar - but that was a lifetime ago. I have grown into the most handsome, eager to please guy you could ever know. I'm a Male - neutered - microchipped. approx. 5 month old dachshund/terrier mix. I've had frontline. I have the black with doxie-brown marking - 15 lbs. Absolute cutie! Doing well with house training. Love my toys. Lively and affectionate. Proud and bold, almost rash. Clownish, curious and mischievous. Devoted. I'm in Huntsville, AL waiting for my forever home.

Is a clown in disguise - with his smile of contentment he lures you in to his "Teeth." He's actually showing them. It's a Frank Sinatra moment Frankies is a puppy that is eager to learn, and does an excellent job on commands. He's had a few instances of potty training, but is doing grand. Loves toys and sticks to chew on. Curious, absoulute doll. Male, neutered, microchipped loved and ready for their forever home.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

Good with Dogs

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
