Adoption fee will be lower if you adopt them as a pair....350.00+10.00 for Lady and Stretch Lady is a very loving dachshund that loves giving kisses and showing lots of affection. She is very good with older kids and younger kids and other animals. I have had her around my 1 y/o daughter and puppy at the same time that I have had her and she is great with both of them. She has a little extra weight on her, but she has lost a little since being with us and it does not affect her mobility. Lady loves stretching out on the couch on her blanket to take her afternoon naps. She "smiles" when she gets excited and you talk sweet to her and it is too cute. She is housetrained and has not had an accident as of yet. She has also been altered (spayed) so you do not have to worry about that. She will be a great addition to any family, so do not hesitate to take a look at this pretty girl!!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
