BIO:

Let me introduce you to the sweetest southern belle I know.... Miss. Daisy this little girl enjoys all the wonderful things living in the South has to offer.   She enjoys family walks on the beach, on her leach of course. She is really fascinated by the fiddler crabs, she thinks they are toys. She doesn't mind lying under a beach umbrella and letting the ocean breeze blow in her face. After a fun day at the beach she enjoys relaxing by the creek in a hammock with a cool drink. This sweet girl would make a wonderful addition to any family. Please call me if you have any questions about this girl. Her foster family loves her very much but, knows she deserves her own forever family.

More about Miss Daisy....FL

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
