BIO: Wizard came in with 3 other long hairs when her owner lost her home and had to move in with her daughter. Broken hearted she knew she had to do what was best for her babies. Wizard is a very very sweet girl. She’s happy and friendly. Beautiful white starting in her face but don’t let that fool you, she is still very active and loves to run around out in the fenced in yard. She took to the doggie door like a pro and uses it when she needs to go potty. She gets along great with all the other fosters male and female and we think cats would be ok but this foster home doesn’t have cats.
If you are looking for an older lady, look no further, Wizard will still give you years of love and devotion. She’s looking for her forever home are you that home?
If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above. If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, there will be an additional $35 Fee for the required Health Certificate.
We will not adopt into the state of CT or MA due to strict laws regarding importation of dogs into those states. If you have an issue with this you need to take this up with your legislatures. We are working hard to get approved to bring dogs into the state of NH and until that happens we cannot adopt to anyone in that state either.
Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options. If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
