BIO:
Hi! I’m Stacy. I am a small (11lb) mini dachshund, red in color, with a smooth coat. I am 8 years old. Eight years is not old for a dachshund and I prove it every day with my energy level. I love to go for walks, sit beside you and get petted, and although my foster Mom doesn’t let me, I would love to sleep with you in your big bed. When I have to go outside, I run to the door and bark. If you aren’t home and leave me a pee pad, I will use the pee pad rather than the floor. I do like to eat and I will let you know if I am hungry. If my breakfast or dinner is late I will whine while you fix my meal. If you have another dog or two, I will try to eat their food if they don’t eat as fast as me. I absolutely love to takes naps in the sunshine and out on the grass. I have learned how to use doggie steps to get up on the couch to one of my favorite napping spots and I am just starting to take an interest in toys. I am searching for my forever home. I would love to get attached to my person and show my love and appreciation to them every day. Please think about me and how happy we could be – TOGETHER!
We will not adopt into the state of CT or MA due to strict laws regarding importation of dogs into those states. If you have an issue with this you need to take this up with your legislatures. We are working hard to get approved to bring dogs into the state of NH and until that happens we can not adopt to anyone in that state either.
