BIO: We have a real cutie here that could use a home. Louis is a 2 year old tan smooth coat. He has been around kids/cats and other dogs and behaved very well. Louis is nervous when he goes somewhere new but, he settles quickly and is very sweet. He is also loves to give lots of kisses. He loves walks and running around. At the end of the day though he is great for snuggling with, even though he is not fond of being held very often. While it takes him a day or so to warm up to new people, when he does settle in, he's a loyal, loving and wonderful companion.
We have now been approved to adopt and transport into the state of Massachusetts but there are guidelines the organization and adopters must follow. If adopting and before filling out the adoption form please e mail aadrpresident@gmail.com to get the guidelines and expenses that must be followed.
Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options. If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
