BIO: Meet DOX!! His family had to move to California but he couldn’t go with them so he’s looking for a new home. Dox is a happy go lucky boy with NO bad habits. He’s full of energy so a family that is active would work just fine with him. He loves to get out and play with the younger dachshunds in his foster home. He’s very well housebroken and has had no accident. Is fine in a crate or loose in the house when his owners go away.
Dox also loves to be out in the fenced yard but he’d be fine in an apartment too because we walks great on a leash.
Dox would make a great dog for first time dachshund owners. He’s happy go lucky and just goes with the flow. Oh he also gets along with cats!
Adopt him today!!
If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above. If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, there will be an additional $35 Fee for the required Health Certificate.
We have now been approved to adopt and transport into the state of Massachusetts but there are guidelines the organization and adopters must follow. If adopting and before filling out the adoption form please e mail aadrpresident@gmail.com to get the guidelines and expenses that must be followed.
Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options. If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
