BIO:  Introducing Sassy!  Sassy is 11 pounds of solid black and beautiful fun!  She is fun loving and playful but also loves to cuddle and give kisses.  She is easy to tuck under your arm and take anywhere with ease.  She loves other dachshunds and quickly makes friends. She has the cutest little jaunty trot that has earned her the nickname Sassy Pants!  Sassy is looking for love and security, could you provide both for this rare beauty?If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above.  If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, there will be an additional $35 Fee for the required Health Certificate. We have now been approved to adopt and transport into the state of Massachusetts but there are guidelines the organization and adopters must follow. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. 

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
