BIO:
Simon came from Northwestern AL from a shelter where he was turned in because his owners lost their jobs and their home and could no longer care for Simon.
With that said SIMON is a WONDERFUL dog. He’s friendly, loving and gets along with everything. We don’t expect him to be with us long because he is the perfect companion and through no fault of his own he found himself homeless too.
Simon does well with a doggie dog and taken out on a schedule he’d soon learn yours too.
We just can’t say enough good things about Simon. If you are looking for a long haired dachshund then Sinon is your man, don’t wait he won’t be here long.
If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above. If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $35 Fee for the required Health Certificate.
Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options. If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well for now please look for dogs on your coast.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
