BIO

Meet Lily! She is an 8 month old beauty. Lily was pulled from a shelter with a non-contagious mange that is being treated with meds currently. She is still very much puppy, but calm when she needs to be. She loves to snuggle and sleep in the big bed with her foster brothers. She gives kisses to my two kids. She is nothing but a joy to have. Loves to bark so be ready for a barker. I really think she just likes her voice :-) She is doing well with potty training but still could use some work. If you are looking for a addition to your family and want a young vibrant pup look no further.....Lily is here!

More about Lilly 2...LA

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
