BEING FOSTERED IN MIDDLE TN....

He is housebroken!!
CHAMP was picked up as a stray in northern SC. Why he was a stray we will never know cause he's just about the sweetest dog we've seen come thur here in a while. He is doing very well using the dogie door and gets along with all the dogs here male and female. Not been here long enough yet but we are sure he'll come out of his shell more to play as well. He is very attached to the foster dad so we think he might have belonged to an older man. If you are interested in owning the SWEETEST DOG IN THE WORLD then you've found him. Get your app in early as soon as word gets out that this boy is sweet he won't last long. Out of State and Canidian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arranements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
