BIO:
Harry is the smaller of the two brothers yet his personality is just as big as Ron’s. He’s full of joy and playfulness. We just adore him. He’s a bit quieter, but when Ron takes one of his toys, then Harry lets him know that he will not be overcome and will pounce on Ron in a flurry of fur until he regains his toy (usually Mr. Tigerpants). Both he and his brother are playful yet not destructive. Both boys love to play with soft toys and love to chew on things they find in the yard. They can be goofy, as are all puppies , which makes them so much fun to be around. Harry loves to be wherever you are and is full of cuddles and puppy kisses. He’s gentle and a little bit fuzzier than Ron, yet by all descriptions equally as handsome.

History:
Harry and Ron came to us from a family whose dachshund mated with another dog (a beagle).
Training:
Both Harry and his brother Ron:
- use the dog door to go to the bathroom and have not had an accident in the house when the dog door is available for use (they have had an accident when in the main part of the house but he wasn’t supervised which is our fault because he’s still a puppy in training)
- are crate trained
- can go overnight without a crate and without an accident
- will use a potty mat if provided but don’t need it as they prefer to go outside
- can sit on command
- are being taught not to jump and to bark at appropriate times
Best environment:
Both boys love to play outside so lots of play will be important for their development and joy. These puppies will be excellent with kids eight and up who are trained in how to treat animals respectfully and lovingly.
