BIO : Seth, is such a beautiful puppy, with an adventurous spirit, that he is very special.  His mother came to AADR from a puppy mill in MO pregnant.  These puppies are all exceptionally beautiful.  They are healthy, strong and LOVE people.  Because Mom’s name is Bella, all the puppies were named per the Twilight series.  Seth is slightly smaller than a couple of the others, but very playful and curious!  He is the kind of puppy everyone wants.  

UPDATE: Seth is a beautfiul puppy, but still a very rowdy boy!  He loves to play chase with his brother Edward!  He is the ring leader always up for adventure!  At his recent vet appt he weighed 9 lbs 8 oz!   He is just 4 mos old!  So he will likely be a good sized boy maybe evern larger than his 16 pound mother.

His nick name around here is batman, as he flys around everywhere he goes!.  His entire world is SO interesting to him.  This boy loves life.

If you are would love to laugh every day at his darling puppy antics, and always have a beautiful bundle of love waiting to give you kisses, Seth could be just the perfect new family member for you! Or better yet Seth and his brother Edward, these two are best friends and partners in crime!   Double trouble, double the laughter!
He is doing very well learning to walk on a leash and learning to be house trained.
Seth is the perfect age to be adopted!

 
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $35 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
