Little CHEWY is a friendly, out-going little boy that is ready for a forever family that will give him an active lifestyle and loves to play. He’s happy, out-going and is quite generous with puppy kisses and loves being the center of attention. When you meet CHEWY, you are a stranger for mere minutes before you become his new best friend. He’s loving and eager to learn the rules that will please his family. He’s a little boy that will thrive with someone who is willing to devote time and attention to training him to ensure he becomes a well behaved gentleman. He is working on housetraining manners, but should do fine if kept on a schedule. Basically, CHEWY is a clean slate---he’s got no behavioral issues and is just a little boy that needs time and attention, rewards for good behavior, and lots of love! Of course, CHEWY is a very handsome boy, too. He’s solid black with silver dapples and has a very delicate build, weighing only about 7 pounds.
CHEWY was turned in with his brother, SNOOP. They would love to be adopted together, but it’s not necessary. He and SNOOP share a crate and he settles in nicely and quietly. Because he’s so small, he needs to go to a home with older children that know how to handle a small doxie. He’s not been exposed to cats, but should have no problems adjusting to a home with cats.
Feel free to email his foster mom with questions or to ask for more pictures.
