FOSTER HOME Jacki in Santa Rosa Beach FL going2safety@gmail.com

BIO:  Hi my name is Lola.  My original mom lost her job and couldn’t afford to give me the vet care all dogs need.  She loved me very much, so she has entrusted me to All American Dachshund Rescue to get me my puppy vetting and find me a home that will love me as much and be able to afford to take care of me.  Is that you?  I’m a good! kisser and love to cuddle.  My foster mom tells me I am a very good girl and very unusual because she had never seen a doxie with a brown nose.  I heard I got that from my daddy.  Both mom and dad were about 10 lbs.  I will be available to go to my new furever home after 1/1/2010.  What a great way to start the new year!

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $25 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
