Meet Grace with the beautiful red hair.  Grace is a delicate mini with a loving spirit very friendly and a sweet girl, we think she is around 2 yrs. old, but this doesn't stop her from hanging out with the other dogs in the home and is even learning to live with the cats.. Grace loves being around her foster mom and is doing very well with housebreaking, walks good on a leash, does great in the car and is very eager to please.

Grace loves human interaction and is never far away. She doesn't take up much space and she is happy to snuggle close to foster mom. She loves the outdoors and is out the doggie door first, she doesn't mind the rain or chill.  Grace is crate trained and we are working on learning commands.

Please please give Grace the home that she deserves.

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

More about GRACE...PA

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
