FOSTER HOME Jacki, Santa Rosa Beach FL 32459 going2safety@gmail.com

BIO:  HI!  I’m the little brother, Baxter.  My brother, Bogey, and I were turned into animal control by a man we thought was our dad.  But he said, ‘euthanize them’.  We don’t know what we did wrong….we’re just puppies!

Thank goodness, they called AADR and they came and got us.  We’re looking for a furever home.  We’ve been together all our lives and would like to stay together, but if we can’t……we’ll be ok as long as we have someone to love us and treat us right.

Right now we are living with big dogs, little dogs, boy dogs, girl dogs.  We get along with everybody!  We’re puppies.  Sometimes I get a little scared, ‘cause I’m so little and everything is so new.  When I get scared, I bark!  I love to sleep in the big bed, but I’m ok in a crate too.  I’ll let you know when I’m ready to come out.

XXOO,

Baxter

More about BAXTER...FL

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

BAXTER...FL's brother, BOGEY...FL (adopted) can also be seen on our website.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
