FOSTER HOME (NAME, CITY & STATE, ZIP, EMAIL)  Being foster in Crossville, TN  --- for more information contact DeeAnn Jones at DeesDawgs@aol.com

Lily is a sweet 6 year old red smooth dachshund.  Lilly and her sister, Lola (Click HERE to see her bio), grew up together but their owner passed away.  These 2 are a Bonded Pair and we would like to keep them together. They just love eachother so much and would be lonely without each others company. Lilly likes to cuddle down by your side when you are watching television.  She gets along with other dogs very well. She has not been around children so we would not recommend her to go to a home with children under 10 years old.  Lilly is trained on a pee pad when left home but would love to have a big back yard to play in when you are home.  Lilly will go into her crate at night to sleep in but does have the run of the house during the day.  Please consider giving Lilly a furever home!

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $25 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above.  We welcome out of state and Canadian adoptions, but we will not ship any dog via cargo.  Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options.  If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application.

More about Lilly2

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
