Hello there! My name is Ringo. I am a little ball of dapple love! I am eager to meet new people, welcoming of most dogs, although I do get intimidated with the bigger ones, and I love going on walks, going bye bye, and playing with kids. I am great on a leash, and love to have my own crate so I have a little place of my own, although most of the time I would rather sleep with you. I love to be pet, and to chase the ball. I also love to sunbathe, and occasionally go in some water to cool down, but it does take me a little while to get the nerves to go in. I am small, and can't jump very high, so I will need a home that can accommodate my needs with little stairs to the high areas I am allowed. I learn tricks easily, and I will do almost anything for a crunchy delicious biscuit. I can't wait for the day when I get to go to my forever home!
Ringo is an adorable, sweet, loving, patient and playful dog. He is a joy to be the foster of. He's been one of the easiest dogs to have because he hardly barks, and when he does it comes as a surprise, and it's just a soft little “rrrruuufff”. He gets along fabulously with children, he is a hit at my five year old nephews soccer games. He walks great on leash, but could use a little help with direction. He sometimes gets a little excited when he sees us after we have been gone, and can have little piddle accidents in the house, or if he hears a loud noise he gets scared and can piddle a little. So it will take a little patience with him to get him acclimated to the house. But over all he is pretty well potty trained. He does great for rides in the car, and is a really loving dog. His ideal day would be to eat biscuits and get pet. When we pet him, and we think we are done, his little wet nose will pick up our hand to persuade us to pet him some more. He would do great in a house with kids, but not with big dogs. He gets nervous around big dogs and usually has more accidents that way. He is a wonderful dog who will make a perfect addition to a loving home.
