BIO: Wiggles came from Tennessee when his owner could no longer care for him. Wiggles is a sweetheart, walks great on a leash, has learned the doggie door, and loves being in the yard running around. With having a yard in which to run, we know the extra weight will be coming off soon.
Our must-haves for this handsome fellow include:
A fenced yard
Another small dog to play with
No children under the age of 7 years old
No apartments or high rises
Wiggles is a sweet boy that loves attention and being near his person so he can give them kisses. When left, he is fine but can’t wait for you to come home. Wiggles will be ready for adoption after his dental is complete on 5/5/21.
If you are considering Wiggles, you won’t go wrong with him, he’s a wonderful little guy looking for his Furever Home. He’s a very sweet boy who just wants to be loved!

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
