BIO:  Lola came from North Carolina, either a breeder or someone that takes dogs from breeders. But wherever she came from, it didn’t stop her from being sweet and friendly! 

Our wish list for Lola includes:

• A fenced yard
• Another adult dog for her to cuddle with
• Someone home quite a bit to help her with potty training if you don’t have a doggie door
• No apartments or high-rises

Lola has her dental on December 18^th and we’ll see then how much her teeth have been neglected and how many teeth she’ll have left. After her dental, we are sure she will feel better. If you are looking for a sweet adult girl, here she is!  

Because of the holidays, no dogs will be transported to their approved forever homes until January 2^nd.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
