BIO: Hi, I am Reba and I’m looking for my forever home! I was surrendered to a shelter in East Tennessee that was a really scary place to be. My owners surrendered me on my 7th birthday at no fault of my own.
My foster mommy cannot understand why I was surrendered. She says that I am just the greatest thing. That I am sweet and beautiful, love to snuggle, and get along great with my foster sisters. I love to destroy squeaky toys and hoard them in my doggie bed, and I love to go on long walks.
So, if you are looking for the greatest dog ever, then you hit the jackpot! Please think about adding me as your next best friend. You won’t regret it! I will be available for adoption after my dental on 2/14/2020.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
