BIO: Calling all wire hair Dachshund lovers! Tanner and Copper came from VA when their owner had to surrender them and knew they needed to stay together. Here is what we know about this adorable pair:
- Playful and clownish
- Need to be only dogs in the household
- She is more outgoing and he follows her lead
- They love a fenced yard
- Not apartment dogs
These two are quite the pair and are true wires. They love to play and chase each other in the fenced yard. They love to bark at the squirrels and birds and at things that go bump in the night, which is why they can’t be apartment dogs. They walk great on a leash and may bark at other dogs along the way.
Copper takes longer to warm up but if you just let him, he’ll be asking to be in your lap in no time, just don’t push him. Tanner will be asking right away for lap time.
We just got them freshly groomed and they look so handsome. If you are interested in this pair and would like to see them before grooming, I do have pictures of them.
Please do not ask to adopt them out separate... they are a true pair, he looks to her for confidence.
If you are a big wire hair fan and have no other dogs or cats, please consider giving these two a forever home. They will keep you entertained all day long or entertain themselves while you are gone. Email me with questions and keep in mind wires go fast so don’t wait too long, they’ll be GONE, GONE, GONE!!
