About REX... TN

Dachshund .................. Mini/Mix Coat ................................. Smooth Color.............................. . Tan & Black Age .................................... 5 weeks Gender ............................... Male Weight ................................. 1.5 lbs Contact ................................. braden01@bellsouth.net adoption fee.......................150.00 + 50.00 neuter deposit This is Rex. He is another one of Cherry's puppies. When he got here he was full of parasites & covered in fleas. Now he is parasite & flea free. Rex is the most laid back of all the puppies. All he wants to do is cuddle. Before he can go to his new home he will have all of his shots that he can have at 6 weeks old & it will be the responsibility of the new owner to have him neutered at 6 months of age. There will be a refundable $50 deposit that will have to be made on the puppies. This will ensure that they are spayed/neutered when the time comes. After providing proof that you have spayed/neutered them we will return your deposit. We are potty training to a puppy pad & it is working well. IF you are interested in him please fill out an application & put his name on it. Or if you have any questions contact us. Out of state adoptions welcome & a home visit is required.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
