About FRACK....TN

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
NAME.........................................FRACK DACHSHUND..........................PURE/MINI COAT.........................................SMOOTH COLOR......................................DARK RED AGE............................................13+ wks GENDER...................................MALE WEIGHT.....................................4+ lbs ADOPTION FEE........................275.00+10.00 chip fee+50.00 (refundable)neuter fee contact sherry52@united.net We think these two came from a puppy miller but not sure, man was selling them at our PetsMart and I just couldn't let them go not knowing where they would end up so I dug in my pocket, got the guy to come down in price and here they are. They are sweet sweet babies, don't need to go together but sure need another dog or cat to keep them company as they will miss each other or you can adopt them together. We do beleive they will be mini's due to their age now and how small they are. This is what the foster mom has to say about them: they are paper trained really well an chew rawhides an milkbones, they love to play with the bigger dogs. They have had 2 of their four set of shots and ready again in today weeks for the last series of DHPP. Before they go to their new home we will put them on Heartworm prevention and Frontline. If you are interested in adopting one or both please go online to www.ssdr.org and fill out an online app and be sure to put their names on the application. It is first come first serve basis but you will have to pass the application process in order to adopt, if you don't pass the next in line will be then considered. Don't wait as these sweet boys will go fast. Out of state and Canadian adoptions are welcome and a home visit is required. We also micro chip all our dogs and must pass the cost off to the adopter. It is only $10.00. Thank you for your interested in a rescue.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
