FROM HIS FOSTER MOM:
I know he is 7 years old but he doesn't act like it at all he loves
to play all the time and he is really good with all the kids. When bedtime comes for the kids he grabs a toy and under the covers he goes and stays there all night long....sleep with the little kids all the time.....he doesn't like to be crated for anymore than 2-3 hours at a time...........please consider Cooper2 he is a wonderful dog and fully housebroken!!
THIS BOY IS TOO TOO SWEET AND JUST WANTS TO BE LOVED!!
Cooper2 is daddy to Junior and AJ and just as sweet as can be. He gets along with all dogs don't know about cats and kids older than 12 would be find. He loves to have his belly rubbed and will follow you all over. He likes to go for walks and rides in the car and likes to sleep in the big bed. He is house broken and UTD on all shots, on interceptor and frontline. He will have a dental before he goes to his new home. Would you like to be the one that gives Cooper2 his last forever home?? If so please go to www.ssdr.org and fill out an online application and put Cooper2 on the app. Out of state and country adoptions are welcome and home visit is required.
More about COOPER2....DE
Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids
AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
