BIO (1/14/2019):  This little princess spent the first four years of her life providing beautiful puppies for people to spoil and pamper.  Now she wants to be the one who is spoiled and pampered!

Bethel is a sweet, snuggly girl who loves to snuggle and hang out with people and other dogs.  Although she will sleep in a crate, she prefers to sleep in the big bed with the rest of the family.  Bethel is very joyful when she wakes up in the morning and will cover your face with kisses before you can get out of bed.  She is a shy girl and needs to be in a home with another young well-socialized dog.  She knows how to use a doggy door and goes out with her pack mates to catch some fresh air.

If you want to adopt an adorable snuggle bug, complete an application for this little princess!

Good with Dogs, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Cratetrained, Affectionate

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
