Mork is a wonderful puppy, full of life and curiosity. He is much bolder than his sister Mindy and gives lots of kisses and cuddles. In fact, he thinks he’s the biggest dog in the house! He is great with other dogs, cats and children. He is a little shy at first, but his curiosity gets the best of him and he comes around very quickly. Mork was turned in to a shelter with his sister Mindy because the breeder that had them had too many dogs. He is picking up quickly on his housetraining skills, and with a little time and patience will be great. He will cry for a few minutes when first crated, but quiets down fast. We think Mork will be a large tweenie or a small standard when he grows into his ears.

This little doxie pup will go quickly, so if you want to add Mork to your family please put your application in today!
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

More about MORK...NY

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
