Mollie is such a sweet little girl curls right up on your lap and that’s all she wants. Her front legs at the elbows stick out some from her chest but this causes her no discomfort and makes her even cuter.
She fits into a pack of dogs very nicely, but would rather sit on your lap than play with them, but does run with them a bit outside.
She is a bit fearful at first but warms up very quickly. You only need to pick her up and let her sit on your lap. From there on out you are her friend.
She is learning to sit, stay and come right now and is very smart.
If you are looking for a sweet loveable dog, who will think you are the most wonderful person in the world, Miss Mollie is the girl for you. If you are interested in making Mollie your sidekick for life, please fill out an application. Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.
More about MOLLIE LR
Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids
AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
