BIO: Must have fenced yard

Hi, my name is Willow and I’m looking for a forever home -- your home!   I’m happy, lively, and would love to be your best friend.   I love everyone and you’ll have to keep me socialized so I will continue to love everyone.   My perfect home will have another young dog or cat to play with and I must have a fenced yard where I can run – ‘cause, man can I run like the wind!   I use puppy pads right now but you must be able to be home enough to teach me how to go outside so I can make you happy too.   Please, are you looking for a friend and companion?

Willow was given up by a breeder, right here in middle TN, who was ill, the breeder that is.   Now we want to find her and her sister, Wisdom, the perfect homes. We want someone that is either home a lot or works from home so she can be housebroken.

We are going to be very picky where these two go because we want it to be forever.   If you want more info and/or to find out if you would be a good fit for Willow and/or Wisdom, you can e-mail the foster mom at aadrpresident@gmail.com.

More about Willow #5.....OH

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
