UPDATE:
Curley's foster gave us an update on his progress: "He is an awesome, wonderful little boy. He loves to lay on his back and cuddle. He gives lots of kisses. When we first got him, he was a little timid and if he was outside he would come back in (doggy door) every ten minutes to make sure we were still there and go back out. Now, he stays outside for a long time on his own. He loves to dig and he will get out of the yard if he finds a small place to get out. But, he doesn't run away...he stays close. We have now eliminated all possibilities of getting out. lol. He is leary of my step-daughter and growls at her. So, she just leaves him alone. I don't think he would every bite anybody....he is a little lover who acts tough sometimes. I would have to say its best if he is not in a home with small kids and a fenced in yard is a must. He is getting better at walking on a leash. "
Hi my name is Curly, I’m sure they named me that cause of my long wavy fur. My story isn’t very pretty, you see this person got me just so I would have him babies that he could sell to support his habits. He didn’t care about me all he cared about was the end result and that was money in his pocket. OH how I longed to be his friend but he just didn’t want to take the time to get to know me and see what a wonderful friend I could be. Finally one day a lady came along and promised me she’s get me to a better life. AND she did, here I am in rescue, I’ve been to a doctor and they treated me for the millions of fleas I had on me and got my teeth nice and clean and now I’m ready to show off my personality so someone will fall in love with me and want to adopt me.
I’m working very hard to be good and show everyone how sweet I am but I still get scared of new things and people but don’t worry I won’t bite you I’ll just curl up in a ball but if you talk to me sweet and give me a little treat then I know you’re not going to hurt me.
I’m working very hard on house training and leash training, I want my foster mommy to be proud of me.
Please won’t you give me a great home? I need you to have another dog so I know how to be a pet and I promise we’ll be great friends. If you have any more questions just e mail my foster mom.
