Update, 4/28/15:
Hi! Wendell here and I just wanted to give an update on how much fun I have been having in my new Foster home. My Foster Brother and I play throughout the day inside and out! He is so much fun and I love having a buddy to play with. We run and chase and wrestle and when the weather is nice, our Foster Mommy takes us for a walk. I walk really well on the leash too! After all the playing and exercise I need a nap. I love to cuddle with my Foster Mommy, but I will go lay in a doggy bed if her lap is not available.
There are also 2 kitties living with us! One is very laid back and just keeps walking by as I try to coax him to play. The other one does not like to be bothered much. Sometimes I just can’t help myself and I keep pestering her and she swats me! I don’t know why! I just want to play!
My Foster Mommy lets me sleep with her at night and I love it. I snuggle right down next to her under the covers and sleep all night. She tells me what a sweet and handsome boy I am and that whoever adopts me will be very lucky. Are you feeling lucky today?

Wendell came from a shelter in Western TN as a stray. WHAT a find! Wendell is a wonderful little guy, he gets along with all the foster brothers and sister and LOVES to play. If you have a young dog that is bored and looking for a playmate Wendell will be the one. He has to have a fenced yard so he can run and play to his heart’s content. He’s a happy boy, let’s let him continue to be happy by finding him that last forever home.
He does great on housebreaking and will use the doggie door or when you go out he is all about pleasing YOU.
When you are ready to settle down at night or on a weekend Wendell is right there with you being a couch potato.
We can’t say anything negative about this boy, he’s just about perfect and deserves a great home.
He might be a little timid at first when coming into a new home but that soon goes away. He loves toys and balls and nice warm beds. Please give him his dream!
