BIO:
This beautiful, loving dog really prefers humans to animals. While she gets along well with our dachshunds and even better with our bigger dogs, her favorite place to be is curled up on a lap, be it my husband’s lap or mine. She also thoroughly enjoys her blanket and she has a special way of carefully tucking her head under an edge of it and slowly circling around leaning into it and pulling the blanket over her until she is totally covered. It’s like she worked really hard on figuring out the best way to get totally covered. And she looks so adorable when she sticks her head out from under it as if to say, “Here I am.”
Tinkerbell is extremely sweet with us and she enjoys the company of both men and women alike. She walks well on a leash and she looks forward to our walks each morning and evening. She is crate trained and she doesn’t mind too much being left alone, although, given a choice, she will ask you to stay home with her. She also loves riding in the car. Although a bit shy at first, she warms up quickly and she will give you lots of love and kisses. She has beautiful big eyes and she doesn’t mind being groomed and having her nails clipped.
Her biggest challenge is that she has no intention of sharing her food, treats or chews with other dogs and it is very important that Tinkerbell be separated and watched closely when any food, treats or chews are given if there are other dogs nearby. We always feed our dogs in their separate crates and we have not experienced any issues. Tinkerbell is looking forward to her next home being her last one, her forever home with someone who will love her just as much as she loves them. She is hopeful that you might be the one to understand her and provide her with that special home.
